Classes
The Red Clay Studio teaches classes for students of all ages and
backgrounds. Our teaching method emphasizes practice and group interaction.
Tuition for semester classes is typically $150 per student.
Classes for the Spring Semester are scheduled to begin in January 2002.
Our courses cover the spectrum of film and stage craft. Classes planned for the next semester include:
Basic Acting. Students will learn acting in a supportive and humanistic environment, with an emphasize on character development through improvisation. Students will work with playwriting and screenwriting students to explore characters and scenarios.
Basic Screenwriting. This class covers the essentials of screenwriting, including dramatic structure, character development, and dialogue. Students will develop screen plays, watch actors read and improvise on their scripts, and film scenes from their work.
