Search for Executive Director. (October 12 2001) The Red Clay Studio (formerly the McClellan Institute) is looking for a full-time Executive Director. This position will manage Studio operations, plan budgets, manage finances, supervise fundraising, and handle Studio relations with other entities, including the State Filmmaking Commission and national film festivals.

Qualified candidates will have 2-5 years management experience, demonstrated financial management skills, excellent organizational and planning skills, prior experience with non-profit organizations, superior communication skills, and a love of the dramatic arts.

EEOT Joins Red Clay. (October 3 2001) The Equal Enjoyment Opportunity Theater has joined the Red Clay Studio. The EEOT offers stage plays designed to be accessible to people with disabilities, using simultaneous signing and non-signing casts.

The EEOT has recently begun rehearsals for its original production The Last Rose of Summer. Performance dates for this play are November 9-10. To learn more about, read our productions page.

McClellan Institute Relaunches as Red Clay Studio. (12 August 2001) The McClellan Institute has now relaunched as the Red Clay Studio. Tom McClellan, founder of the McClellan Institute, remains as our acting Artistic Director.
